In order to use ACN Digital Phone Service, you will need the following:

  • A high speed, wired Internet connection such as Cable or DSL (minimum speed required)
  • A Canada, U.S. or Puerto Rico billing and shipping address
  • An ACN Video Phone or ACN Phone Adapter
  • Router with Ethernet cable

Enhanced and Basic 911

ACN Canada is required to remind you periodically of the terms associated with your Digital Phone Service with regards to 911 emergency service. Please review the information below carefully and ensure that all potential users of your Digital Phone Service are aware of the 911 limitations described below. If you have any questions, please call us at 1-888-383-8226.

While our system supports 911 calling in the majority of the country, there is a difference from the 911 services that may be available with traditional telephone service in your area and the 911 service that you receive with your ACN Digital Phone Service. Both the 911 and Enhanced 911 (E911) services available with traditional telephone service send the call directly to the emergency response center. Additionally, with E911 service, the telephone number and address are immediately visible to the emergency response center call-taker. With your ACN Digital Phone Service, your call is sent directly to a national emergency call center. The call center operator will confirm your location and information. Then the call will be transferred to the emergency response center nearest your location. You should be prepared to confirm your address and phone number if required. Do not hang up until told to do so by the operator and if you are disconnected call back immediately.

In case you are not able to confirm your location on a 911 call, the call center operator will transfer your call to the emergency response center that is closest to the service address you provided when you subscribed to ACN Digital Phone Service. You should ensure that your address information is kept current.

911 service will not function in the event of a power outage, loss of broadband Internet service or suspension or disconnection of your ACN Digital Phone Service.

Recommended Router

Restrictions
Intended for residential calling only (direct dialed conversations or voice mail messages). Chat lines, data, fax, commercial use, Internet access and/or long distance calls made using call forwarding and three-way calling features are prohibited. ACN, Inc. reserves the right to terminate enrollment in this plan. Excludes calls terminating to some 218 area codes, chat lines, and certain call types such as private, military, non-geographic and premium numbers. A limited number of international destinations that are high fraud areas may be selectively blocked. Callers will hear a message "Call cannot be completed as dialed" when calling a blocked number.

ACN Family Plans

Family Plan lines can only be purchased by a customer who has an active Digital Phone Service primary account or signs up for one upon ordering. Family Plan lines are for calls made on ACN's digital network only and cannot be used to call non-ACN digital phone numbers. These lines cannot be used for a primary phone line and do not have 911 access.

Monthly fees and all activation, shipping and handling will be charged to your credit card. Video phone purchases require a 2-year agreement. Early termination fees for services and equipment apply. Applicable taxes and fees apply.

High Speed Internet Restrictions

Only available to customers in Ontario, Quebec, Alberta & British Columbia where technology permits. This product is intended for customers who do not have, or do not plan to keep their traditional local phone service. If customer retains local service, additional inside wiring will be required.

Please note that ACN High Speed Internet does not support IPTV (Television).

At the time of order, your credit card will be billed for all applicable charges. ACN High Speed Internet service is only available with ACN Digital Phone Service. Stand-alone High Speed Internet service is not available at this time.

Get up to $200 for switching

ACN will credit you up to $200 for any Early Termination Fees you incur from your current Internet and local service provider when you order ACN Digital Phone Service with High Speed Internet. All you have to do is provide a copy of your invoices to ACN showing the Early Termination Fees. It's that easy!

Ontario Customers: Get up to $100 back per account
Quebec Customers: Get up to $200 back per account

Fax invoices to 1-888-880-6778. Quebec and Ontario customers only. Customer must subscribe to ACN Digital Phone Service with High Speed Internet and must submit their invoices from the competitor clearly stating the termination (cancellation) fees. The invoices must be faxed to ACN (1-888-880-6778) within 90 days of the installation of their ACN service and be dated after the installation of ACN Digital Phone Service with High Speed Internet.

Two-Line Capabilities

A one-time $9.99 activation fee for a second line account applies.

High Speed Cable Internet Restrictions

Only available to customers in Québec where technology permits. This product is intended for customers who are purchasing digital phone service. If customer does not currently have Cable Internet service inside wiring will be required.

Please note that ACN High Speed Cable Internet does not support IPTV (Television).

Customer opting for the cable high speed platform should not exceed the following monthly usage limits:
